Book a Tattoo Session

Before submitting your tattoo proposal, PLEASE READ THROUGH MY BOOKING GUIDE. I try to respond to all inquiries within five days - please bother me if I accidentally miss your email!

PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT INQUIRES WITH SOME SORT OF SEED VISION. It’s absolutely okay if you don’t know precisely how you want the piece to flow, exactly what size or placement you want, or what extra swirls of energy or blackwork you want added to the design - that’s my job, I am your tattoo midwife! However, I do my best work when I am given a sprout of vision to nurture and create a visual garden out of. I am not a tattoo artist to come to and say “do whatever you want” - I am a collaborator and a weaver of design and energy; I want you meet you at your tattoo dreams and bring them to life, and I do this best when I am given an initial idea to work with (examples: candle, certain flowers and herbs, abstract energy mountain flow, eucalyptus leaves, etc).

MY SAN DIEGO BOOKS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED! This means I am not accepting new submissions at this time for San Diego. Do you have a budget?

*Minimum $400 for all sessions. Most pieces are $700-1600 before tip. My hourly rate is $220/hr of tattooing for freehand pieces, with additional fee of $50-300 depending on the size of the piece (imagine a forearm flower for $50, $300 for full body flow) to cover my labor of custom freehand drawing. All folks who identify as POC have the option of 15% off the total cost of their freehand tattoo (minimum $350 still applies with this offer). Please tell me ahead of time via email if you would like to accept this 15% offer so that I can keep it in mind when I am calculating your total at the end of your session. Flash (pre drawn design) is priced separately with a sliding scale of $125-200/hr and doesn't include a drawing fee. I accept cash and Zelle for payment.

Please elaborate on your tattoo imagery dreams here!

Please be specific about what plants, candles, mountains, etc you are dreaming of! If you don't have a particular symbol or image you want as your tattoo, I LOVE creating imagery based on feelings, dreams, memories, sounds, scents, poems, etc. Frequently, that which is most central to what we want to remember isn't imagery at its core. I love collaborating on visual language for themes and feelings. It’s very helpful for me though if you can be clear about what imagery you love that I frequently work with.

What placement are you imagining? How do you want the piece to flow? What approximate size are you hoping for?

Size in inches. PLEASE NOTE: I take limited requests for pieces that are only on the side body/ribcage. I will joyfully tattoo the ribs if they are connected to a larger composition that wraps around to the front or back, but tattoos that only exist on the ribs are not entirely compelling to me (even though I have a piece like this myself heh)

Please include links to my work that has similar energy to what you are imagining!

Let me know if there's anything (racial/gender/ability identity, physical, emotional, spiritual) that would be helpful for me to know as we enter into energetic exchange! If you are going through a breakup, have had the death of someone close to you recently, or are in the midst of some kind of existential crisis, these are all relevant circumstances that I want to hold tenderly during your tattoo, if you are comfortable sharing. If this is your first tattoo, please let me know here - whether this is your first or twenty first tattoo, I want you to feel supported and seen as we begin this process - the ritual begins with you listening to your desires, reaching out, and stepping forward. Being tattooed is incredibly vulnerable and trusting, and I honor your courage to say yes to this experience. Or, you can just say hi :)

This means clearly tagging me in the description of Instagram posts or Tiktoks you might make, as well as tagging me in Instagram stories you create about the tattoo and the process of the tattoo coming into the world.

My studio is located up a couple stairs - if you cannot walk up stairs, please let me know, and I’ll gladly tattoo you at my old tattoo home, Pixley’s Oddities.
